A shameful and deceitful front-group called "Latinos for Reform" has been urging Latinos not to vote in the Mid-Term Elections. The Federation categorically rejects this message intended to suppress our community's vote. Latinos have fought too hard for the rights of citizenship and full participation in voting and the electoral process is chief among those rights. To suggest to any voter that they would be better off staying home is quite frankly outrageous, and a slap in the face to American democracy. The Hispanic Federation will double its efforts and continue to work with our member organizations to ensure that Latino eligible voters exercise their right to vote on November 2nd.
The Hispanic Federation has registered over 200,000 new voters in the last 15 years and will continue to work to ensure that voters' rights are promoted, protected, and respected in the upcoming political races and future elections.

VOTE or Else!
There is an old adage that says "if you don't vote, you can't complain." We take that saying very seriously at the Federation because we understand that voting is the most effective way to ensure that the concerns and aspirations of our community are taken seriously by those in public office. This year we have critical Midterm Elections for control of Congress and state government. Voter registration deadlines are fast approaching. Please make sure you exercise your right to be heard on Tuesday, November 2nd! For voter information and assistance, please contact us at 1-866 HF AYUDA (432-9832).
