 Saludos, Thanksgiving marks the beginning of a very special time in our nation's calendar. It is a time of colorful decorations, traditional festive dinners and special family gatherings. It is also a time when we reflect and give thanks for the many blessings we have received in our lives. On behalf of our board of directors and staff, I would like to thank you for the gift of your friendship and all the support you have given to the Hispanic Federation this year. Now we ask you to join us in support of one of our most beloved initiatives: "Un Milagro de Navidad," the Federation's Annual Toy Drive. Since 1990, we have distributed over 100,000 new toys and books, bringing smiles and laughter to thousands of underprivileged children in our region. You can help us bring a smile to this child and thousands of others like him this holiday season. The Hispanic Federation's Annual Toy Drive, "Un Milagro de Navidad," will hold a special place in the hearts of children who, because of the current economic times, may not receive presents this season.
We are already receiving requests for toys and books for children ages (2-15) and need your help! "Un Milagro de Navidad" aims to distribute over 10,000 toys through our network of nearly 100 health and human service agencies.
There are many ways you can help:
- Consider making a donation towards the "Un Milagro de Navidad" at www.hispanicfederation.org.
- Visit our wish list at www.walmart.com and send a toy directly to HF.
- Gather a group of friends and co-workers together to launch a corporate, fraternal or organization toy drive and make the Hispanic Federation your drive's recipient.
