Changes imposed by surgery, regardless of the procedure, are easy for some and more
 
difficult for others. The support is here to help you through difficult times and keep the
 
rest of you better informed to avoid common pitfalls. It is well documented that support
 
group attendance improves short term/long term outcomes, which is a goal that each of
 
you strive to achieve. You all want a better quality of life and better health.

The Center for Obesity Surgery has its main support group meeting the second Monday of every month in the Medical City Dallas Hospital Cafetorium which is located on the 1st floor next to the cafeteria in Building A. A variety of topics are covered. Please email us at info@obesitysurgerydallas.com to reserve a spot. Dates and topics are subject to change.

The 26th annual national obesity surgery meeting will be in the Metroplex this year in June. If you want more info about the meeting or registration go to www.asmbs.org website for info about meeting and registration.  I recommend the allied Health sessions. One of us will sign off as sponsor for the registration form however, for those of you who attend the support group on regular basis there will be opportunity to have the office pay your registration fee through a drawing. Placing your name in play each time you attend a support group meeting, more meeting more chances to win! The date of drawing will be announced in future.
