Full-Time Assistant for mixed-age early childhood classroom
River Song Waldorf School

Assistants participate fully in the daily classroom routine with the lead teacher and children, support the lead teacher in preparing activities and classroom supplies, care for and clean the classroom space, and provide consistent loving care to the children in the program. Assistants should have some successful experience working with young children, an interest in Waldorf education and desire to support its foundational ideas of child development, and a commitment to working collaboratively with other adults to provide a supportive healthy experience for all in the community. A love for the environment, the natural world, and respect for all living creatures is essential, along with a strong interest in community building. Any coursework in child development is preferred and future training and coursework would be partially supported by the school. Child Care Referral Specialist
This part-time position at the Early Childhood Council for Larimer County (ECCLC) provides child care referral services and support for families in Larimer County. Requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and typically one year related experience in the field of early childhood care and education and/or training; Bachelor's degree and knowledge of community resources for children and families desired. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual (Spanish/English). Position requires strong communication, customer service and computer skills. School Readiness Consultant/ Infant & Toddler Specialist

Salary: $38,000-60,800 (hiring range $38,000-41,800 based on education & experience). Includes benefit allowance, paid vacation, holidays and sick leave.

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the full-time School Readiness Consultant/Infant & Toddler Specialist represents the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council with a commitment to reflect excellence and professionalism in contact with Council Partners, individuals in the community including parents, early childhood professionals, board members, vendors, news media and specifically parents of young children. This position is responsible for consultation to childcare providers employed in home and center environments to assist in quality improvement and responsible for providing training specific to Infant & Toddler care. The School Readiness Consultant/Infant & Toddler Specialist is responsible for the creation of internal documents as well as the coordination and implementation of existing quality improvement plans in conjunction with the program staff & director, the School Readiness Team, the Professional Development Coordinator and partnering professionals.
