Kids' Drink Exploration
PH Studio, in California, asked me to do an exploration of a new fruit beverage for kids, named Splashfulls.
I was given the creative direction to be very playful with the letters, to explore some water-like shapes, and present various levels of sophistication.
This kind of project is fun, because I get to push the shapes of the letters, and look for good ways for them to interact. But it is always a delicate balancing act to produce logos that appeal to kids and to their parents (you know, the people who buy the drinks).
Ultimately, the client changed the name of the product and ended up with a more typographic solution. The good news is that I did the digital refinement of the final logo. But, I can't show that to you until it is released. Stay tuned.
So, let me know if you need some youth-oriented letters, or perhaps something a bit more grown-up.
