The New Texture in Lettering
On the big screen, the small screen, and in retail shops everywhere, we're seeing obviously-hand-crafted letters used to humanize products and advertising.
Baker Associates first brought me onto the casual-letter bandwagon when they asked me to update the Wheat Thins brand on their package redesign.
Next came a campaign for the agency Swirl, and their client Jamba Juice. I did all the lettering for a series of in-store posters promoting the store's new line of drinks.
Let me know how I can bring a little humanity to your next lettering project.
Thank you to all who visited my new Workbook website last month. Congratulations to Rod Wallace, of Q Design, for winning the drawing for $250's worth of credit on his next lettering job. Aloha, John
