Book Clubs run at all 4 RPL branches.  Space in the club is limited, so register now.  Check out our kids' programs page for dates and times, and to register.

Eleven Birthdays

Have you ever had a moment or a day that you wished you could do over? How about a day that was so awful you're just glad it's over and you never have to face it again?
That's the kind of day that Amanda has just finished - it was her 11th birthday, and the first birthday she's had to face without the company of her best (and birth-date sharing) friend Leo. Ever since their first birthday they've had a shared birthday party, but on their 10th birthday words were said that couldn't be taken back, and they haven't spoken since. Amanda has been lonely and miserable since then, and her 11th birthday was just as miserable. So, of course she was fine with just going to sleep and letting it all be over. Except she wakes up the next day to find out it's her birthday all over again.  Borrow this book to find out what happens next.
