Brighouse (Main) Branch
Free and drop-in!

The other three RPL Branches will still be offering daily storytime, Cambie and Steveston branches will both have babytime programs as well.  Feel free to check out the kids' programs  page for the full schedule.
 New Kids' Books

Looking for a good novel to read?  Check out these new books in the library's collection:

Bobby vs Girls (Accidentally) - When Bobby inadvertently gets into a fight with his best friend Holly, their disagreement develops into a boys versus girls war involving their whole fourth-grade class.

The Case of the Case of Mistaken Identity - When twelve-year-old Steve Brixton, a fan of Bailey Brothers detective novels, is mistaken for a real detective, he must elude librarians, police, and the mysterious Mr. E as he seeks a missing quilt containing coded information.

Hetty Feather - Hetty Feather is just a tiny baby when her mother leaves her at the Foundling Hospital. The Hospital cares for abandoned children - but Hetty must first live with a foster family until she is big enough to go to school. Hetty is determined to find her real mother - could she be the fantastic Madame Adeline from the traveling circus, or is the truth even more amazing?

Kenny and the Dragon - People in Kenny's town have heard that there's a fierce dragon living nearby, and they're determined to get rid of it.  Little do they know that Grahame is a friendly dragon and that he and Kenny have become friends.  Will Kenny be able to stop the townspeople before it's too late?

This task proves to be more difficult than she expects, especially when she is suddenly captured and the egg taken away. Mella knows time is running out. Will she find the hatching grounds before it's too late? Borrow this book and find out!
