The Construction at Rts. 21 and 22 is Done!!!!

As you can see, the ongoing road construction at the intersections of Route 22 and Milwaukee Avenue that began in the Fall, 2009 is completed. The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), was responsible for this lengthy project which was delayed due to some design issues, utility and fiber optic relocates, and a month long strike by the Heavy Equipment Operators union. We know this project was difficult for some of the businesses and retailers in the Village and we appreciated your patience. With the dual left turn lanes on Route 22, the traffic flow should improve considerably and bring more visitors and shoppers to Lincolnshire businesses, including stores and restaurants.
