Help The UPS Store with their Duffel Bag Drive
The UPS Store in Buffalo Grove is currently collecting new and gently used duffel bags, large backpacks and kid-sized suitcases for children in foster care. Thousands of foster care children, as well as those in institutions, carry their worldly possessions in a black garbage bag as they move from home to home - help the UPS Store give these children the opportunity of owning their own duffel bag to carry their belongings in.
Bring your donations to The UPS Store in the Woodland Commons shopping center on the corner of Half Day and Buffalo Grove roads by Sunday, August 15.

Sedgebrook Residents Support Soup Kitchen
"All Rev. George Dyer and members of the Catholic Council at Sedgebrook in Lincolnshire had to do was invite fellow residents to help out the Holy Family Soup Kitchen in Waukegan. And now, every Saturday after Mass at the continuing care retirement community, Rev. Dyer has large cartons of non-perishable food and other items to deliver that Sedgebrook residents have donated".
