Health Update:
White Christmess, Happy to Be Here, First Check-Ups, Keep Praying
|
Greetings! ,
I hope all has been well with you since my last health update.
We've just had huge snow storm here in the Northeast with over 24 inches of snow that some called a "White Christmess!" Our scheduled services in Jersey City were postponed this last Sunday and most churches were closed.
However, I hope you are looking forward to a wonderful Christmas with family and friends this week. I know I really am this year!
It was 12 months ago that I had concerns about my health that later proved to be life threatening. However, my faith in God and His Word, all your prayers and support, and an inner resilience have made it possible for me to be still here this year. Heaven can wait!
Hundreds of people, mostly unconnected, all said the same thing when we initially released the news that I had cancer in my esophagus; and that was, 'You have so much more to do for the Lord - your assignment is not finished! You're going to make it through with God's help.' I am so thankful to the Lord that He has brought me this far!
Since mid September I have been back 'on the road' preaching and teaching in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida and Connecticut. My testimony is helping many people in crisis.
My schedule is busy through to the end of January and then we will be ministering and catching up with family and friends in Australia and New Zealand for most of February. Beyond that, we are very busy rebuilding our traveling ministry after having been down for most of this year.
It is crucial that you continue to stand with us financially as we get back up on our feet.
Health wise I continue to get stronger each day. I am back in full swing at the gym and would say I have regained my former robustness. I have also continued drinking a special blend of 19 fruits and berries with high levels of antioxidants and that has made all the difference.
Please keep praying so that the 70 to 80% medical prognosis of surviving the next five years cancer free will be increased to 100%. I will be having the first six month check-up in January to make sure that I am clean.
Prayer Points: Pray for a total restoration of health and strength and to remain cancer free over the next five years. Pray for God's provision to increase for this next phase of picking up ministry again.
Below is an opportunity to donate before the end of the year. Online donations and checks dated and received before December 31st can be counted as a tax deduction for this year.
