 Greetings!,
I hope everything is well with you and yours.
In this update, I am including a portion of a letter from the board of Firepower Ministries International that went out recently to many pastors and leaders, followed by a link to my latest video report, recorded just two days ago. Please look at both!
For your interest, here is the board's letter:
"As you may be aware from Jeff's updates, his chemo treatments have resumed following surgery early in May for cancer of the esophagus. We understand this is a standard medical procedure to counteract any stray cancer cells.
We, the Board of Firepower Ministries International, want to personally thank you for the wonderful support he has received both financially and in prayer during this prolonged treatment schedule. Your support has been a wonderful testimony of the love of God and a great boost for Jeff and his wife, Melva, financially, freeing them to remain focused on getting healed and the things of God.
Jeff does derive great strength from your display of love, especially since his usual high level of social networking has been stifled due to his debilitated immune system brought on by the chemo. This has also robbed him of his usual vitality and opportunity to minister, but we are believing that will begin to change toward the end of September, when it is expected he will have recovered enough to begin a return to active ministry.
Meanwhile, your loving support truly goes a long way in replenishing his soul and, of course, continues to keep the bills paid.
We would appreciate your standing with us: 1) in prayer for expeditious and complete healing; 2) with any financial support you can send to see Jeff and Melva, whose ministry travel is also affected, through to the end; and, 3) booking meetings now with Jeff as he prepares his itinerary for October and beyond. We are sure he will have a powerful testimony to share with you and your congregation.

Prayer Points: Pray for strength to bear this current round of chemo, and for a total restoration of health and strength over the next 6 months and beyond.
It is a real encouragement and inspiration to know you are there for Melva and me. We really need you to to continue to stand with us as I walk through this to victory! We have quite a way to go yet, but knowing you are there is a great comfort.
