Health Update:
Heart Healed, Urgent Prayer Needed, Healing Miracle

 Greetings!,
I hope you and your family are doing well.
I'm pleased to let you know that the heart procedure I had a few days after I last wrote to you was a success. The doctors said it was a text book case.
They found the stray nerve that was causing the tachycardia (fast heart) and singed it. So I won't have that particular problem ever again. Praise God for that!
I have also been continuing to recover from the surgery eight weeks ago.
I was feeling quite strong again early last week, however on Wednesday I began the next, and hopefully last round of chemo. This has put me on the back burner again with fatigue, possible infection and nausea being an issue.
While on this treatment, I have to be careful not to get around too many people, a challenge for someone like me who is a people person. Complications from infections can be a big issue when chemo weakens your immune system, and I want to get through the next five weeks without any extra problems.
After I finish chemo, I will have to take it real easy for a while to recover completely. They say it takes about 8 months to a year to get over what I am going through.
Also, in recent weeks I have become aware of several leaders in the Body of Christ close to me, who are struggling with cancer. One precious pastor friend of many years in Australia just lost his battle a few weeks ago. Others here in the United States, include several international ministers and one leader and friend here in our own church.
I will be eternally grateful to the thousands who have been praying for me, and according to reports, continue to do so, however, can I encourage you to pray urgently against this attack on the health of others too! We are in a war and your prayers are powerful weapons!
Prayer Points: Pray for the grace and strength to bear this next round of chemo. Pray for health and healing of leaders on the Body of Christ who are battling similar health issues at this time
Finally, I was really encouraged by this testimony I would like to share with you, "Jeff, When you were at our church, I came up for healing for pain and light sensitivity in my eyes. I had to wear sun glasses all the time, day or night. When you prayed with me that day, a miracle happened in my body. I went over in the Spirit and when I got up, I had no pain and did not need the sun glasses.
God used you to heal me. I want you to know that I will be praying for your recovery. God still does miracles today; I have experienced it with your help. I also want you to know that I am a cancer survivor myself. In 2000, I had Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma; when I went into remission, God called me to serve Him. I have been serving Him nine years now. Every time I get the opportunity for a testimony, I tell people about my healing gift that God gave me through you. God bless you." Praise God for this good report.
It is a real encouragement and inspiration to know you are there for Melva and me. We really need you to to continue to stand with us as I walk through this to victory! We have quite a way to go yet, but knowing you are there is a great comfort.
