I hope you are doing well.
Since I last wrote to you, I have been steadily improving after completing the chemo and radiation treatment several weeks ago.
I would say that right now I am about 80% of my normal strength, stamina and vitality.
I have a little less than three weeks to get back in good shape before the surgery, which has been scheduled for Friday, May 8th.
Between now and then I will have another CT scan, Pet scan and other tests to prepare for the surgery.
One of the challenges associated with this health issue, is hardly being able to preach for the last three months. This is the longest I have gone without preaching since FMI was founded nearly 20 years ago.
We will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary in July this year.

We continue to get many encouraging emails, cards and letters from all over the world. I am deeply grateful for everyone who assured me of their prayers and are sending financial support at this time.
This will be a long haul to get through this thing completely, and we are certainly not out of the woods yet.
