Thank you for your prayers regarding my recent diagnosis of cancer in my esophogus.

The many responses we had to the first email we sent out a couple of weeks ago were so encouraging to me.

I'm assured that your prayers, and the many praying all over the world, are bearing me up during this trial.
 
In all the bad news we have been getting lately, we had some good news yesterday. The great concern of my surgeon that there was evidence of the cancer spreading to my liver proved to be unfounded.
 
Although there are several unusual spots on my liver, a pet scan I had last Wednesday showed no cancer on the liver, praise God! We were very relieved because that would have been a death sentence in the natural.
 
However, I now am facing a challenging six to eight months of chemo, radiation, surgery and recovery to deal with the tumor in my esophagus.

With all the prayer going up to God's throne on my behalf, it would be a surprise not to receive a miracle of complete healing. Please pray and believe with me for this to happen.
 
As you know, my support comes from my traveling and preaching ministry, so we will be challenged in our faith during this extended season of down time.

 

We originally thought it would only be about four to six weeks; now it is six to eight months!

Even though your prayers are the most valuable thing to us right now, perhaps you could also consider standing with us in other practical ways to help us get through this fiery trial.
