Thanksgiving is a uniquely American celebration commemorating the pilgrim's survival of their first brutal winter in the new world. This year, Thanksgiving follows soon after a very divisive presidential election. Since the church at large will be both elated and deflated as a result of the outcome, how should we respond?

 Event: New NYC Alliance Unites National and International Leaders
"The two scriptural models of apostolic networks are the Church of Antioch, that received its vision through revelation, and the Church at Jerusalem, that got it through persecution. Very few get it by revelation... most get it through persecution!"

 News: Children Born Believing in God!
Dr. Justin Barrett, a senior researcher at the University of Oxford's Centre for Anthropology and Mind, has made the claim that children naturally have faith even when they have not been taught about it by family or at school. "If we threw a handful on an island and they raised themselves," said Barrett, "I think they would believe in God."
