In case you have missed your desktop system messages we thought it was timely to bring a few very useful items to your attention!

What's new in the latest upgrades:

  • The Misc Costs screen and the GL Account Setup screen have rolled out of Labs.
  • We have improved the Sales Tax Analysis Report to make it easier to find totals for the Total Taxable and Non Taxable Sales.  If you are having issues with the new report layout please contact support and let us know what the problem is. There is still currently an option to run the report in the legacy mode.
  •  'Project Type' has been added to the list of things you can change en mass in the project status screen.
  • When allocating hours in the schedule screen, you will now see actual and remaining hours as columns that calculate from allocated hours.  
 
Remember:- if you get any error messages after an upgrade.. Empty your cache


What's new in Labs:

  • The new Staff Schedule screen: drag the task into an actual time slot. 
  • New Calendar: calendar will print the task in the time slot
  • Bank Reconciliation: will now be able to sort the columns in the Account Reconciliation screen.
  • New Diary: delete your own diary notes (or someone else's if you are an administrator).
  • Mobility: sorting and filtering will be much more user friendly and your last filter  is remembered. 
  • Contact Management: campaign name and notes will copy from the opportunity and you will no longer have to supply a Campaign ID when converting an opportunity to a campaign 
  • Projects: an option to estimate using multiple service rate levels in Task and Service and Services Only types of estimates.  The detail does not print. To enable this go to Settings tab on the estimate and check the box called Use Rate Levels.
  • Expenses: you will be able to attach files to each line of your expense report if you are scanning and attaching digital receipts.
  
                Remember: - to turn Labs on go to:
Menu arrow > My settings> Workamajig Labs
