Dear

We hope the start to 2011 has been energised and optimistic.

To verify that Workamajig is a constant work in progress, we thought it was timely to assure you that our Workamageeks have been on their game and have an impressive line up of enhancements to add to your system capabilities.

Meet our Development Team

Latest Features:

Our Task Auto ID is now in effect.

The setting up a new project from scratch, or modifying an existing project template will benefit from the automated allocation of task numbers. If a new task is added, the task list will be renumbered to include the new task in sequence.

The new Traffic Calendar is completed.

Under 'Projects/Traffic/Traffic Calendar' we now have a grid view, a gantt view, and a calendar view, also incorporating the staff schedule.

We recommend traffic managers and project managers put the calendar in their speed bar for quick access.

A new Flash Version of Campaigns is now available.

More of you seem to be using the campaigns feature now, so please note the addition of campaign segments, to look at separately grouped areas of the campaign, and the ability to create estimates by segment accordingly.

 Coming out of Labs Next:

We are enhancing the sync engine so that it will be possible to sync calendars with Exchange and Google at the same time.

The new Campaign Edit screen and the new Estimating Screens will be rolling out of labs later this month, so if you have not looked at them or tried them we recommend you get familiar with them now.

On Going Development:

As you can see from their photo our development team do not sleep - very much. Just enough to maintain their commitment to keeping Workamajig evolving to meet the ever-increasing needs of an energetic and demanding user base.

Our LABS area gives you the opportunity to influence the development of your system and our release notes keep you up to date on the latest enhancements and modifications. Our release notes are viewed anywhere after logging in with:

Tip of the Month

When WMJ runs updates once a month -  around the second week of the month - for all clients downunder, you may experience an error message. Just empty your browser cache via the tools and make sure you are running the latest version of your browser and Flash.

To all of you who have passed on new contacts, much of our business comes from word of mouth referrals, so thank you for recommending us.

As some of you have realised, it is often preferable to schedule new employees for a training session with a

Workamajig

consultant. This means 'bad habits' are not passed on and the new user gets the most out of the system for their particular role.

If we can assist with any more information or training  with

Workamajig

please contact us to schedule a session.

Email all helpdesk queries to:
support@softwaredownunder.com.au
Please include as much detail as possible to enable a speedy response.

Sincerely,

Rondelle Taylor

About Us
Our director, Rondelle Taylor, has had ten years experience as the financial controller of a medium sized agency, handling a wide variety of project types and sizes.
Recognising the problems of not having an adequate system for project management and profit tracking, and the need for the integration of separate systems (excel, word, and myob etc.) led to the current consultancy role.
Maintaining a detailed analysis of available software solutions enables Software Downunder to recommend a system to best fit your needs.
