Greetings!

We thought it timely in our Olympic issue to emphasise the benefits of a good starting position with our new upgrade. Taking the time to familiarise with all aspects of the new workamajig system will mean you get the maximum benefit for your personal requirements.
Start by making the system your own
Customising your desktop, which is your homepage, is a good place to start, with everything from the colours, fonts and backdrop, to the width of the columns, easily personalised. Setting up your speedbar for instant access to all parts of the system avoids stepping through menu options.

Showing only areas of the system that you use regularly  makes the desktop clearer and more efficient for each of you. Flexiblity is the key.

Making use of the functions

Using project templates for a fast set-up of new  projects saves a lot of time, and alterations can then be made for any variations. If you have regular projects resembling previous ones, estimates can also be attached to templates to save input time.

And let's not underestimate the value of workamajig's In/Out Board. All users can edit their own status in real-time and leave a comment
about their location or return time.

workamajig's Digital Asset system allows you to store files of any kind and share them with others on your team. Revisions are easily tracked and files can be shared with clients.

Make the most of the expenses area, by editing and attaching them to a specific job number, then submitting for approval. Everything's easy when it's all in one place.

Scheduling

The allocation of people to a project and the daily workflow can be closely controlled with the scheduling section.

This area has the capability to add or remove specific people from a project, and to view their individual schedules and workload.

Tasks can be assigned to specific people and work allocated on a day-to-day basis. This makes it possible to anticipate potential overload situations, and to make adjustments before they happen.

Reminder!
For our current Creative Manager users - don't forget to use your current user ID and password in

au.workamajig.com

(see our Quick Links on the left) to familiarise with the new update version, and see what can now be done with your existing database.

NB:  Any updates you make to your data in workamajig  will be reflected in your Creative Manager database as they are now completely interactive.

We want to have you all converted by the end of October this year,  as any future upgrades will be made to Workamajig only.

All queries: support@softwaredownunder.com.au
-remember to include as much detail as possible to enable us to respond as quickly as possible.

Being more aware of all of the functions means you will of course get more benefit from workamajig.

We would be happy to schedule a session to relate any aspects to your own needs.

Sincerely,

Rondelle Taylor

About Us
Our director, Rondelle Taylor, has ten years experience as the financial controller of a medium sized agency, handling a wide variety of project types and sizes.
Recognising the problems of not having an adequate system for project management, profit tracking, and the need for integration of separate systems (excel, word, and myob etc.) led to the current consultancy role.
A detailed analysis of available software solutions has enabled Software Downunder to recommend a system to best fit your needs.

About You
You need the software solution that suits the size of your business and the complexity of your projects. If your projects are simple and you currently have less than 10 people handling them, your software requirements may be simple also. Speak to our consultants about alternative software packages for the best fit.
