Halloween Parties NEXT WEEK!
Halloween is a big deal at Playtime, where parties give families a chance to kick back and we provide costumes for every child so that they don't have to worry about being without one at school!

You can help make Halloween memorable this year for more than 80 children:

Help Sort 150 Costumes this Saturday! Join us at DC General from 11:00-1:30 on October 22 to organize costume donations and help deliver them to each site. Please email Kathleen.hcpp@gmail.com to RSVP by Friday.

Please support our Halloween Parties and Year-round Programs with Halloween Party Mini-Fundraisers

Come to a Halloween Party!

Help throw a party for the kids, lead a carnival station, and donate $20-$30 through Fannie Mae's Foundation to help us win a $5,000 bonus that will last all year! Even if you can't make it next week, your registration online will help us reach our goal of 300 party participants to earn the prize!

 The Competition is On!

Park Road, DC General, NCFN and Turning Point are in a competition for who can recruit the most Halloween party registrations. Here's the latest:

NCFN (Mon & Wed):  45 team-members
DC General (Tues & Th): 33 team-members
Park Road (Wed): 27 team-members
Turning Point (Mon & Th): 17 team-members

NCFN is defending champion - who will beat them? All together, HCPP has 122 team-members - one week to get the other half of 300 - go get 'em!

Volunteers Needed as Shelters Fill Up!

Hypothermia season is beginning and more kids will be arriving to Playtime's doors!

Volunteers make Playtime happen; this is your chance to make a difference for children who are homeless in our city.

Thank you to everyone who made Playtime's Fall Fundraiser, "Celebrate the Power of Imagination" such a success! Guests enjoyed the beautiful day, delicious appetizers and cupcakes and amazing artwork by children in our five sites.

While adults bid on great auction items like glass fused necklaces made by the children, vacation homes and sports tickets, their children played downstairs in our travelling Playroom. Reports one young participant, "It wasn't just fun, it was super fun!"

We hope to see you there again next year!
