CLASSES START MONDAY,
SEPTEMBER 19!
We can't wait to welcome you to the new Knock On Wood next week! There's still time to register and at this point, there is still room in all classes. It would be most helpful to know in advance if you're coming, so please REGISTER HERE, or, if you plan to come on a drop-in basis, email and let us know which class(es) you are interested in. Of course, we'll welcome your registration at the studio as well. FINANCIAL AID is available; please email for more information or click here to download our financial aid form. We will also have a limited number of kids' shoes available to borrow for the first couple of classes. If you're planning to purchase new shoes, look for the discount coupons in the lobby.
STATE of the STUDIO Floors, mirrors, music......and tappers! That's all we really need to tap dance, right? We'll be sprucing up the place as time goes on, so if you'd like to make a donation toward supplies and expenses, we would be most grateful. Keep an eye out for our "wish list," too - coming soon.
STUDIO RENTALS When we are not tapping, we would love for others to dance (or do yoga, or ballet, or jazz, or really anything that suits our space). If you or someone you know is looking for studio space, please contact us for details.
TAKOMA PARK FOLK FESTIVAL It was a great day for a festival and lots of folks came by our booth to try out a few tap steps. We especially want to thank Capitol Tap members who taught quite a few shuffle steps throughout the day. We now know there are plenty of tap students in the Takoma Park area!

CAPITOL TAP We are thrilled to be affiliated with Capitol Tap, the premier DC area performing ensemble. If you are a serious tapper between the ages of 9 and 25 looking for an ensemble experience, performance opportunities, and more, Capitol Tap  is holding auditions on Saturday, September 24, from 1:30-3:00 pm at DC Dance Collective, located at 4908 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC.
