 Knock On Wood's Winter Session begins January 4. The full schedule is now online, and registration is open. Classes not meeting minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation, so don't delay.
 LET'S PARTY! Join us on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 8-10 pm as we celebrate Knock On Wood's 15th Anniversary! This TapTastic event will be hosted by the dynamic duo of Baakari Wilder and Jason Janas - you definitely will not want to miss great music, jamming, and performances. There will even be terrific Silent Auction items for you to bid on, so bring your shoes and bring a friend. Enjoy a wonderful evening as we commemorate 15 years of TapHappiness! Admission: $10.00.

Heidi Schultz began teaching tap more than 20 years ago in Detroit, Michigan. She is the founder, director, and choreographer of the DC-based rhythm tap company Tappening that performs primarily to modern music such as R&B, electronica, reggae, hip-hop, jazz, and rock.
· Professional Tap Teachers Seminar with Special Guest Laurie Johnson! Join us for another informative seminar as we gather local professional tap teachers to explore classic and new material, discuss and demonstrate current classroom strategies. 3-30-5:30 pm Cost: $35. Start your New Year off with a bang as Dance Place presents TWA @ Atlas Performing Arts Center, January 9, at 3pm and 8pm. We're premiering new works by Step Afrika's Jaakari Sherman, and local legend Baakari Wilder. C'mon, get in step and in the groove - tap here for ticket info!  TWA will be appearing at NBC's Health Expo, at the Washington Convention Center, on Saturday January 16. We're performing around 11:00 am, so if you're out and about enjoying the Expo, drop by!  TWA's totally psyched about our amazing collaboration with Coyaba Dance Theater and Urban Artistry! These three dynamic and diverse companies will present, Origins, a collaborative show, premiering February 20 & 21, as part of Atlas Performing Arts Center's newest offering, Intersections - A New America Arts Festival.
