 Celebrate Ms. Yvonne's 75th Birthday and Help Make the DC Tap Lady's "Wishes Come True!" We're looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, November 1, from 1 to 4 pm at Joe's Movement Emporium (click here for directions). Admission is $25 for each adult attending and $15 for each student. For details about all of that, plus more party info, visit our website.
We're gearing up for a new semester! The Winter Session schedule will be available online in a few weeks.
Our popular 4-week Don't Sweat the Technique class begins November 8. Each class focuses on material specifically chosen to enhance your skill set, and build speed and clarity. Dust off your tap shoes and let's practice, practice, practice!
And especially for our young dancers, come learn some slick moves from TWA's Dance Captains, at our Kids Tap Workshop (ages 8-12), November 15. Then stick around for tap jams, rhythm games and more, at TWA's Kids Only Tap Party.

Don't miss this upcoming TWA performance!Tappers With Attitude, and Skill to Burn - Washington PostBlackRock Performing Arts Center, Germantown, MD
Saturday, November 21 (2 different shows) 1:00 pm Famous for fearless innovation as well as classic stylings, Tappers With Attitude explodes with energy in this family-friendly concert. Whether it's classic tap set to traditional jazz, Latin-flavored pieces, or high-style a cappella work, TWA continually shows why the Metro D.C. Dance Awards have twice honored the troupe for outstanding youth performance. Suggested ages: 4 - Grade 8; approximately 1 hour. 8:00 pm Tappers With Attitude takes tap dance to the level of a percussive art with an emphasis on the jazz tradition. TWA has performed their high energy, innovative choreography everywhere from the Kennedy Center to the New York City Tap Festival to the Beijing International Dance Festival. Note: This full-length performance for audiences of all ages features a more varied repertoire than the shorter Family Discovery performance for young audiences.  * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Welcome to TWA's new Training Workshop members!
