| IMPORTANT MESSAGE FORM OUR BOARD |
WANT TO DOUBLE YOUR MONEY?
Of course you do... and now, you can! Between now and June 30, every donation to TWA will be DOUBLED (that's right, doubled!) thanks to a generous matching offer from one of our TWA alumni families. In these challenging economic times, every dollar you donate to TWA is more important, and appreciated more than ever. And now your donations can go twice as far!
As a 501(c)(3) organization, Tappers With Attitude, Inc.'s primary missions are educational and artistic, and we rely on our generous donors to help us fulfill those missions. Please take a minute today to go to our website and donate (click on the donation fairy). We hope you will help us take advantage of this special matching gift; it's quick, it's easy, and every dollar you donate between now and June 30 turns into two dollars!!
You can also donate by sending (or bringing) a check to Knock On Wood Tap Studio. All donations will be matched, and all donations are tax deductible. Thanks so much for your support and for your generosity - we are indeed Tappers With Gratitude!

PROGRAM BOOK: It's That Time Again!
|
As our season draws to a close, it's time for one last project: Program Book! Each year, a wonderful memory-filled program book is distributed free-of-charge at both TWA concerts (at Atlas Performing Arts Center) and the KOW Showcase (at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School).
KOW parents, students, friends, and supporters are encouraged to purchase sponsorships in the book, ranging from $40 to $300. These announcements can be "shout outs" for your child or your instructor. Or they can be purchased by your business or any of the businesses you support.
Your help in selling sponsorships is critical; as we enter the lean summer months, we need to bring in at least $5,000 on program book sponsorships to get through - and we cannot do it without your help! We count on you to support our dancers and our nonprofit organization; whether you purchase a business-card sized spot, or a full page, this is a fun way to participate!
Details and order forms are available on our website and at the KOW front desk; the deadline is May 8. Please accept our thanks in advance for participating in this crucial fundraising effort.

| CAN YOU STEP UP TO HELP OUR MARKETING COMMITTEE? |
TWA, Inc. would like to invite you to become a member of its newly formed Marketing Committee, to help promote the great work done through TWA and Knock On Wood. We are specifically interested in increasing our internet presence through outlets like YouTube, Facebook, Craig'sList, community calendars, online dance sites, etc. No special skills are required beyond basic familiarity with email, but marketing or public relations expertise would be a plus!
The first meeting will be held at the studio on Wednesday, May 13 at 7:30 pm. If you are interested and have about 3 hours a month to donate back to TWA, Inc., please contact Alison McNeil, TWA, Inc. Board Member. Thank you! (Photo by Enoch Chan)
