Lakeside Chautauqua Realty's New Look
 Earlier in January, the Lakeside Association announced the merge of its property management operations with Smith's Realty, a longtime full-service real estate brokerage service based in Lakeside. The combined operation, resulting from the sale of Smith's Realty to the Lakeside Association, is now managed by Lakeside's established for profit subsidiary, Lakeside Chautauqua Realty, Ltd.
Lakeside Chautauqua Realty, also known as LCR, recently introduced its new logo that will be used in both the sales and rental divisions of the organization. The updated logo combines part of the former Smith's Realty logo, which has been a large part of real estate sales in the Lakeside-Marblehead area for the past 40 years, with the new name of Lakeside Chautauqua Realty.

Oelschlager Match
 In 2007, longtime Lakesiders Vanita Bauknight and Jim Oelschlager challenged the Lakeside community. The challenge was to join the Directors Club or move to a higher Directors Club giving level. The Oelschlager's offered to match each new Directors Club gift with a 50 percent match for any new leadership donation or increased gift. This challenge has definitely helped the Lakeside community step closer to the 2007 Annual Fund goal of $385,000.
No matter the size of your gift, your participation in Lakeside's Annual Fund ensures that future generations will have the same opportunity to experience Lakeside as you. Today, the Lakeside Annual Fund totals over $297,000.
Currently, 26 new families have joined the Directors Club Circle for 2007 and 21 families have stepped to a new Directors Club Circle: Gold ($2,500 +),Silver ($1,750)and Bronze ($1,250). The Brymer family was indeed gracious to the Oelschlager's for this challenge and feel it is a generous gift for the Lakeside community. "It is very important to give to Lakeside since it allows us to grow spiritually, intellectually and culturally," commented the Brymer family.
