Lots of Heart
Annual Heart Party at Mount Sinai Hospital

Naked Brothers Band
The annual Heart Party at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City brought lots of smiles to over 500 pediatric heart patients. Project Sunshine and a team of dedicated volunteers provided the children with a day of entertainment, arts and crafts, face paint and quality time with Miss USA, Rachel Smith, and Miss Universe, Riyo Mori. The party was filled with Valentine's Day treats, hugs from Elmo, and a special guest appearance by Cooper Pilot from the Nickelodeon Naked Brothers Band (see picture)! Project Sunshine Week and Fifth Annual Gala!

Empire State Building
Project Sunshine will host its Fifth Annual Gala on May 12th, 2008 at the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City and will honor Rick Cummings, President of the Radio Division at Emmis Communications. The evening will feature celebrity guests, a blockbuster musical performance, and live and silent auctions! This evening is the culmination of Project Sunshine Week (May 5-12), as proclaimed by Governor Spitzer and Mayor Bloomberg. Our New Book Club
Reading to Children Facing Medical Challenges

Project Sunshine Book Club
Project Sunshine is excited to announce our new Book Club, which will bring distinguished authors, illustrators and entertainers into New York City medical facilities to read books with children facing medical challenges. Authors such as R.L. Stine, Mary Pope Osborne, and Sesame Street's Sonia Manzano will read from their books and sign copies for the children to keep.
