We hope you have a super happy day and that you are enjoying the new year!

We are sending out this email to let you know that Nebraska's Senator Tyson Larson is trying to open a horse slaughter plant in Nebraska.

He claims it will boost the economy of Nebraska. He is also trying to pass legislation that would punish the rescues in the state if they are unable to accept a horse.

We believe his thinking is way off target, for LIVE horses contribute greatly to a community's economy, dead horses do not.

There are many examples of how horses contribute to their local and the national economy, I chose hay because I throw, stack and unload and feed A LOT of hay to the horses.

Tristan

Tristan is just an absolutely gorgeous thoroughbred gelding, he is 16 hands high, and is 11 years old with just a super sweet personality.

He has been extensively trail ridden and is just a wonderfully kind horse. He is well-behaved and will make someone incredibly happy - he is one SUPER flashy guy!

He will be suitable for light riding and a fantastically wonderful companion horse.
