Angel Acres NEEDS Help Placing 2 Mares!
Greetings!

We hope this note finds you well!

We are in dire need of homes for two wonderful mares!

Magic Touch, is the last (be believe - American bred) 15 year old daughter of Ferdinand - 1986 Kentucky Derby Winner - 1987 Horse of the Year - who, according to reports, was brutally slaughtered in 2002 in a Japanese slaughterhouse.

We need YOUR help spreading the word for these two sweet girls...due to the death of the owners son and the subsequent sale of the farm, these ladies are out of time and must be placed by January 15, 2010.

Please also check out the Angel Acres Dollar Horses Program by clicking here - be sure to read this first if you are interested in either of these ladies. They are free to Angel Acres Approved home and adopter will need to have cover shipping, that's our across the board policy for $1 horses.

Angel Acres will be taking Gus into the rescue to be retired.

Rum Jungle Rum Jungle

Rummy is a gorgeous, 11 year old, 16h,  thoroughbred chestnut mare. She gets along well with other horses.

She retired completely sound from the track with winnings of 60K, all at more than a mile. She has been off the track, used as a riding horse and broodmare for the last 3 years.

She is sweet and mannerly on the ground and will be fine for an intermediate rider or a beginner with a trainer.  She doesn't particularly like to jump, but will do so if pushed. She has been taken through the barrel pattern, but would need some work to be a really good barrel horse.  She likes to take long walks in the woods or on the road.

She walks through water and over logs.  Turkeys, deer and trains don't spook her.  She is good for the vet and farrier.  She cross ties.  She has good ground manners. She has been ridden with an English bit and an English or a Western saddle.

She doesn't know neck reining, but is smart enough to learn.

PLEASE SHARE THIS NEWSLETTER! WE MUST GET THESE GIRLS INTO SAFE HOMES!
