This is Crocket 16 Days After Rescue!

This is Crocket, he was left to starve to death at a farm in West Virginia, and he was saved 16 days ago.

He ate his first handful of senior feed today and then had another handful this evening! Foster Mom Deanne is doing a great job with his refeeding program - and it's really a fantastic job she is doing because this was her FIRST big horse (she has mini's) and her first starvation case she had ever seen! 

She offered to help Crocket and she followed directions from me to the letter and was able to help him avoid refeeding syndrome!
