Things are moving along at Angel Acres!
Stalls are being releveled (is that a word, yikes?!) and mats replaced. Thanks to Mike for agreeing to help us out on a rescue budget and big thanks to Clare and Debbie for helping Mike do the project!

Exercise Rider Needed
Experience is a Must!
 Angel Acres is a looking for a volunteer exercise rider for our Maryland Training Facility (located in Manchester, MD). We are looking for someone to ride 2 to 3 horses 3 days per week. In addition, there may be times candidate will be asked to help with stalls, hold for farrier or vet, etc. This is a volunteer position; however we are offering the right candidate boarding for one horse (no stallions) with access to trails, an indoor arena to ride in, outdoor riding area and access to one of many different padocks on this beautiful 40+ acre farm.Owner lives on property and the Angel Acres veternarian, Dr. Wells, is less than 3 miles away. Mike's Backhoe Service
Helps Angel Acres!
Super big thanks to Mike Matthews of Mike's Backhoe Service for helping the Angel Acres gang!
He agreed to help us with our stalls and work within our rescue budget - yes, I baked him some pumpkin muffins and there is pumpkin bread on the way!
Clare and Debbie helped Mike with the stalls, this was NO easy job and it's currently just over halfway done.
We can't wait to show you updated photos when the job is totally done!!
