 Gelding is SAFE!

The gelding that needed to be moved from his home to Kentucky is safe!!
Golden was picked up by Joe Renner in KY on Saturday and delivered to his new mom, Vicki, about 9 hours later in VA.
We could not have done this without the generous donations we received to Mattie's Legacy Fund!! We truly appreciate the support we have received from everyone.
These donations pushed Mattie's Legacy Fund to half way to our goal...we still need to reach our goal, and soon, so that we can help more horses in need, like Golden. We will post pictures soon (his new Mom is not digital camera savvy so they are coming via postal mail).

Maryland State Fair
Volunteers - THANK YOU!
We attended all 11 days of the Maryland State Fair and got to meet some of our facebook friends and others who have been supporters and friends for years!
It was a very successful event for us...we could NOT have done it without the amazing help, organization and hard work of one Ms. Fran Burns - Angel Acres volunteer extraordinaire!
She organized stuff for us, she worked the booth nearly every single day and generally was support staff for my whining! LOL!
Special thanks to Dawn and her family, Carol & David, Karen, Josie & Vicky, Ed and Lindsay, Aaron, Lizzie and of course the worlds best hubby, Greg for manning the booth.

EVERY time I called Clare and said, "Hey Clare, watcha ya doing?" her reply was..."beading"...lol...she spent about 6 weeks beading for us and turning out fabulous jewelry. In addition to this, she and Debbie (her partner in jewelry making crime) donated tons of stuff to what we gave them to make the jewelry with.
