Greetings!
We need your help with placing a retired foxhunter as quickly as possible!
Kaluha is located at our main facility (York County, PA) and has been in our rescue/ recovery program for just over 6 months.
He is a 10 year old, Thoroughbred gelding. He is a solid dark bay, stands 16.1 hands high, he is beautiful and in need of a home where he can be a companion/ very light trail riding horse.
He is NOT going to be foxhunting again in the future and needs to be retired to a forever home.
He is up to date on Coggins, teeth, feet, shots, deworming, is good for the vet, the farrier, etc. He trailers, loads, unloads, etc. He will crib if left in the stall long enough if he is not wearing his Miracle Collar. (does NOT crib with collar on)
He is NOT for a beginning horse owner, he IS a great guy and gets along very, very well with other horses and loves people. He is free to approved home with adoption contract.
We have an urgent case coming in and need his spot as quickly as possible.
