Youth Leadership Summit on HIV/AIDS

Event Details: Friday, April 10, 2009
The Fairmont Hotel, 170 South Market Street

The event will be led by high school and college aged youth, with the support of over 50 local non profit professionals, HIV/AIDS specialists, educators and counselors. Beyond incredible speakers such as Michael Uslan, Executive Producer of the Batman movie series, attendees will listen to government dignitaries, HIV positive youth, technology company leaders and so much more. The Summit will be a dynamic, youth focused, entertaining, educational and fun experience that is not to be missed. For more info: Click Here!

Global Youth Service Day

GYSD LogoGYSD is an annual global event that highlights andcelebrates the contributions of youth to their communities through volunteer service. GYSD is celebrated in more than 100 countries in every region of the world.

Each April, millions of young people participate in and lead service projects, working with their families, schools, community organizations, faith-based communities, and businesses, to improve their communities by addressing critical issues such as global climate change, education & illiteracy, poverty, health, hunger, and homelessness.
