Greetings!
When your heating unit is on the fritz or your kitchen sink has sprung a leak, you probably aren't going to simultaneously also be thinking about how you can help the animals at the Humane League of Lancaster County. However, if you called Lancaster Plumbing and Heating during August or September this past year, they donated a portion of your sales call to the Humane League as part of their "Dog Days of Summer" campaign. Recently, representatives from Lancaster Plumbing and Heating presented Megan Gallagher, Humane League Vice President of Development and Outreach, with a check in the amount of $1,070.62! On behalf of the thousands of animals who come through the Humane League each year, we would like to extend a special "thank you" to LP&H for their generosity.

Another business that has recently decided to donate to the Humane League is Design Data. Rather than making a financial donation, Design Data is donating their services.
Design Data is providing the HLLC
with FREE computer support, networking support and related services as part of their ReThink I.T. managed services
program. Design Data President, Chuck Albert, says, "HLLC
was in need of affordable and quality IT support; however, limited funds
combined with the current economic climate, made this pursuit difficult. Wanting to continue with our corporate philosophy
of volunteerism, we decided that our ReThink IT services program would be an
extreme benefit to the HLLC." The Humane League would like to thank Design Data for supporting our human staff as we all work together to help the animals of Lancaster County!
