Brrr! Our Cats Need Fleece!

fleece blankets needed

With the cold temperatures upon us, our Trap-Neuter-Return Clinic is in need of fleece blankets to keep our cats warm after surgery. If you have any fleece blankets you would like to donate, we will happily accept them. If you would like to make fleece blankets, we are requesting that they measure no less than 2 feet square. Blankets may be dropped off at any time. Our feral cats thank you!

Adoption Update
Sweetie, the cat who was rescued from a hoarder and was featured in a previous email, has been adopted!
Fawn's foster family sent the following pictures and update earlier this week:

fawn week two"Fawn has adjusted very well to home life. At first she was scared of  my husband, but we worked hard on gaining her trust and she now loves him! She even looks for him to play with her when he gets home from work.  I have been walking her and she is terrified of cars (understandably). I have been doing a lot of reassuring to calm her down. We are gradually increasing our walks; she pulls at first but then settles down to a comfortable gait. She is still favoring her leg and when she gets tired she lifts it up and just walks on her other three legs. She is stiff when she first comes out of her crate, but other than that, she is healing well.

fawn halloweenWe had our grandkids over on Sunday for a visit. Fawn loved the kids; she wanted to play with them and lick their faces. I introduced her to my neighbor's dogs and she seemed a little nervous but not at all aggressive. Fawn wants to play, play, play; she just loves her toys! Fawn loves to snuggle and crawl onto your lap; she just wants to be a lap puppy!"

On behalf of Fawn we would like to continue to extend a special "thank you," to everyone who donated towards her care and has made her recovery possible.
