Emergency Services Placement Partner

It's a Small Mammal Circus!

Flora 2

The League is currently
overrun with small mammals! We have over 50 hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, ferrets and rabbits who are all looking for loving homes. If you are interested in adopting one of our smaller critters, please check them out on petfinder or come visit them at the League! If you can't adopt but would like to help, consider donating supplies such as Timothy Hay, bedding, or food. Donations may be dropped off at the Cat Adoption Center.

HSUS rescuerSo, what does that mean exactly? If the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) rescues a large number of animals in our local area the Humane League of Lancaster will be called in to help provide housing, long term care, and adoption services.
In order to become an HSUS partner, the Humane League had to meet eligibility requirements and go through an application process. Although we receive no funding or financial assistance from the HSUS, we feel that this partnership will help fulfill our vision of creating a humane community where all pets are protected and wanted. We are very proud of being named as an Emergency Services Placement Partner!
