Tango Argentina Clubcongratulates Judy Veramendi for a quality theater show "Los Chalices Vacios"
Ruben and Marie of Tango Argentina Club
attended the theater performance at The Instituto Cervantes on Saturday, November 1, 2008. In the play, written by Judy Veramendi  and directed by Madrid St. Angelo, the dramatic life and erotic work of Uruguayan poetess Delmira Agustina unfolded for a captive audience. The premiere of the play took place in Uruguay and Chicago in 2003 and in Argentina in 2004. The actors were completely involved in the story, allowing the audience to identify with the characters. Congratulations to the great composer Elbio Barilari and talented director Madrid St. Angelo for their tremendous contribution to this work of art.  We witnessed a tour de force performance by actors Oliver Adalpe (Papá) Omar Barragan (Amancio), Marilyn Camacho (María Eugenia), Adrián González (Enrique), Susana Groisman (Mamá), Stefanie Neukirch (Delmira Agustini), and Ivan Vega (André). We enjoyed the marvelous poetry of Delmira Agustini.
