celebrated The Grand Opening of
ROMULO Y MARGO in the new studio of Chicago Tango Academy
We attended the grand opening of Romulo and Margo's brand new tango studio. We chatted briefly with our hosts as the guests began to arrive. Later, we observed the dance teachers working with their students. It was admirable to witness their dedication and involvement. Romulo and Margo received us cordially and made us feel at home. Not only did we personally experience their warm reception but we saw that they gave a personal welcome to everyone who entered.
It was an impressive sight, watching the guests enter the studio. Carlos Favre  with his notable presence gave the party the musical touch that we were all waiting for; the air was vibrating with beautiful tangos that could move even stones. And then, the guest parade continued: Daniel and Ramona followed by Burak and Maria with her daughter. Ray Barbosa made a triumphant entry with a special master teacher from Argentina, Susana Miller herself. There were other important tango teachers from all over the country including Cindy Carleton of Gallerie Medici from Michigan and many more.
As the guests enjoyed a delicious gourmet buffet, Daniel and Ramona entertained the audience with a delightful performance followed by a special demonstration by Burak and Maria. The evening was a  real spectable.
We interviewed Romulo and Margo after the event and here is what they had to say:
Ruben: How was the inauguration of your new dance studio?
Romulo: We were pleased with the turnout. Our project is dedicated to our students with the goal of teaching them how to dance well. The studio is beautiful; we tried to make it look like the milongas of Buenos Aires, not only with the music, but also with the decorations and how we positioned the tables. We appreciated the fact that all the students stayed to participate in the milonga. We aim to convey to them the importance of the milonga through learning to dance tango.
Ruben: From our point of view, the show was spectacular; what did you think of it?
Romulo: The performance of the dancers was really unforgetable and we are quite pleased. Daniel and Ramona and Burak and Maria were invited to dance for the occasion. But we were pleasantly surprised that many celebrities came on their own, such as for example, Susana Miller who was brought to our event by Ray Barbosa. You attended the Saturday event, but I want you to know that many people  also came on Friday. The grand opening was really a success.
Ruben: I noticed that the tangueros think highly of you and that the students were really enthusiastic. Do you have any events planned for the future?
Romulo: We are going to participate in the upcoming event "Chicago Tango Week". We are also planning, in collaboration with other dancers, a special milonga for the end of July with many musicians who will be performing live.
Marie: Judging from the wonderful experience that we had Saturday, we know that your special milonga will be an event that no one will want to miss.
Margo: We are very proud of our new studio and we believe our hard work and dedication will bring us the results that we are striving for.
Ruben y Marie: Romulo and Margo,  we are convinced that you will achieve your goals for two reasons: firstly, because you are true professionals and take your responsibilities seriously and secondly because of the humility that characterizes both of you.
