For over a year now, EE Publishers has been distributing its content, as well as that of other respected content providers in the energy, power, electricity, electronics, measurement, automation, computer, telecoms and geographic information science sectors, on Twitter under the user profiles @eepublishers and @chrisyelland.
Many readers may not yet be familiar with Twitter as a news and information source, because for first-time users Twitter can seem somewhat disorganised and intimidating, presenting a seemingly random and endless stream of information and links.
Now, to make things easier, EE Publishers is using a relatively new Twitter application, which enables readers to harness the power of Twitter without having to watch real-time information feeds on Twitter, Tweetdeck, Hootsuite, or similar.
Instead of having to read scores of local and international magazines, newspapers, websites and newsletters, EE Publishers filters relevant news and information in the energy, power, electronics, measurement, automation, computer, telecoms and geographic information science sectors, and delivers a daily round-up to you in the form of an on-line web-based newspaper.
The Daily EE News is a great way to discover and read content that matters to you - even if you are not connected 24/7!
