This session will focus on newer fungicide chemistries used as seed treatment for soybean and corn.

 This session will focus on factors (environment, chemical, etc.) that severely impede corn growth and development throughout the growing season.
Corn Seeding Rates & Populations: How Thick and How Narrow?

This session will focus on seeding rates and row spacing for corn.
Current Issues with Soybean and Corn Nematodes
Jamal Faghihi
 This session will focus on the biology of soybean cyst nematodes as well as different corn nematode species, the current status of these nematodes in northwestern Indiana and east-central Illinois, and the utilization of sampling techniques/tools and economic thresholds to aid in treatment decisions (utilization of crop rotation/resistant varieties) for these nematodes.
Understanding Soybean Physiology to Increase Yields
Shaun Casteel
 This session will focus on soybean development during vegetative and reproductive growth as it influences yield potential.
Tracking Nitrogen with Sensor Technologies
Jim Camberato
 This session will focus on the reliability of nitrogen tools (Chlorophyll meters, GreenSeeker, etc.) in providing accurate recommendations for rates of nitrogen needed on corn during the growing season.
