Remnants of snow and ice will be a part of this year's summer camp experience.

As heat indexes climb over 90 degrees on Nims Lake at the S bar F Scout Ranch in June and July, Scouts will be able to cool off by scaling an iceberg. The floating iceberg is just one of the new activities that will be available for Boy Scouts attending a week of summer camp at the S bar F Scout Ranch.

But it doesn't end with the floating iceberg.

The Council offers specialty summer camps for Boy Scouts, Explorers and Venturers. Click on the links below to learn more:
Horse Camp: Highlights include horseback riding, swimming, skeet shooting, rappelling and campfires at Beaumont Scout Reservation.
Ranger Program: Experienced Scouts can experience the wilderness on the east side of the S bar F Scout Ranch during a week of camp. New: Three merit badges will be offered.
Catholic Adventure Week: Have fun and grow in your faith during this summer camp at the Swift Base.

Your Scouts can take part in a variety of outdoor experiences throughout the summer.
Cub Adventure Camp is a day camp experience for Cubs to attend with their den. Camps are located throughout the council. Scouts can enjoy a week at
Grizzly Adventure Camp at Beaumont Scout Reservation's Cub World. Two weeks are available.
Dad & Lad and
Mom & Me are overnight camps. Contact your Cubmaster or den leader to see when your unit is going.
Webelos can enjoy a

several local retailers. Each Camp Card is sold for $5. The unit keeps 50 percent and 50 percent goes to the council. Unit funds can help every Scout attend summer camp. The Council's portion covers the cost of production, securing sponsors, promotional materials and provides funding for camping and training programs. Read more...
