Greetings!

Silver Beaver AwardThe Silver Beaver Award is the highest honor a Boy Scout council can bestow on an adult volunteer leader. The award is recognition for outstanding service to Scouting and the community.

During ScoutQuest 100 - the council's celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America - 22 adult volunteers will receive the Silver Beaver. The awards will be presented on Saturday, June 5, during the Annual Meeting and Recognition Dinner at the Saint Louis Zoo's Living World.

We congratulate this year's recipients for their many years of service. We also thank all who provide a Scouting to our young people.

Leader Tip:
Guess What I'm Doing
Cub Scout Game

On separate slips of paper, write various directions, such as "Buckle your seat belt," "Look both ways before crossing the street," "Take out the garbage," or "Wash the dog." Put the slips of paper in a hat and ask the first player to pick one. He reads his direction silently and pantomimes the action. The player who first guesses what he is doing becomes the next pantomime.
