| Greetings!
Now is the time to share your unit plans and calendars with parents and leaders. If you haven't planned your program year, there's still time to complete this important task. Make sure your new Scouts and parents receive a unit calendar so they can plan to attend events or activities. This is important during recruiting and School Night to Join Scouting. A family's calendar fills up fast at the beginning of the school year. Providing unit dates and information helps families make Scouting a priority as the calendar fills up.
It's not too late to plan your unit's program year. Gather your key leaders and plan your activities for the year. Click on the Council's 2009-2010 Program Guide for calendars, program and facility information. Distribute the plan to current and prospective parents of Scouts. Thanks in advance for all you do to develop character and leadership in our youth members.

| Leader Tip:
Calling All Parents
Equipment: Blindfold for each adult player.
This is a great game for new parents and Tiger Cubs!
Line up the adults side by side in a grassy area and blindfold them. On signal, the Cub Scouts start calling out to their adult partners. Adults follow the sound of their Cub Scout's voice until they reach him.
