Greetings!

Cub at campfireSummer is the time when parents and adult volunteer leaders keep the promise that's made to each Scout when they join -- fun and adventure. Our summer camp and adventure camp staffs are prepared and ready to help your unit have an outstanding outdoor experience.

The council's resident summer camps open on Sunday. Hundreds of Scouts are already enjoying bugs and creepy things at Cub Adventure Camps.

Help your Scouts enjoy camp by helping them prepare for the experience. Below are links to equipment lists for all resident camps, links to maps to camp and maps of the council's resident camps.

As always, please contact us if we can assist you in providing the highest-quality Scouting program for our young people.

Leader Tip:
Ball In The Bag
Cub Scout GameMaterials: Pillowcase, assorted sports balls (golf ball, tennis ball, baseball, etc.), timer, paper, pencils. Fill the pillowcase with assorted sports balls.
Using the timer, allow each person 10 seconds to reach in and feel what is inside. Each person then writes down what he thinks is in the bag. Remind players to be specific - "golf ball" or "tennis ball." Do not share findings with other players. The person with the most correct items listed wins.
