Greetings! :

Memorial Day weekend is a time to look ahead to the fun and adventure of summer. It's also a time to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Thousands of Scouts and leaders will place American flags on the graves of veterans at cemeteriesMemorial Day Good Turn throughout our Council. It's a way to teach an important lesson in citizenship and service to others.

Day camp, summer camp and high adventure treks are about to start. Take time now to prepare for many safe, fun and memorable experiences that will help young people grow mentally, physically, socially and spiritually.

As always, please contact us if we can be of service to you and your Scouts.

Criminal Background Check Initiative Starts June 1

To ensure youth protection, the Boy Scouts of America conducted criminal background checks on all new volunteers since April 2003. Because some volunteers have been continually registered in the program before April 2003, some have not had a criminal background check. In the next few moths, we will be communicating with those volunteers on this issue. More...
