Looking Back on 2011
  | Me in February 2011 & October 2011
|
2011 was the Year of the Butterfly for me. I didn't know it in January, but I was about to transform from a sluggish caterpillar into a sparkly butterfly in the span of one year. Much of the time I spent in my crysallis was painful. I recall many days when I wanted to stay a caterpillar. I didn't want to feel the pain of change. I didn't want to exert the effort to shed my skin. I didn't want to Get Big.
But, with the help of my husband Michael, my daughter Emma, my dear family and friends, my helpers Dr. Shaun Dumas and Dr. Diane Stewart of The Rose Center, my spiritual communities in CSS and LHSC, and most importantly, Spirit, I found a way to make the transition.
When I look back on the shape-shifting that occurred for me, I am acutely aware of the team effort it required. Every great thing that each of us accomplished in 2011 did not happen in a vacuum. We had support along the way that kept us going during the tough times. I am so very grateful for my Team Butterfly! Who in your life is on your Team? How have they helped you manifest in 2011? Have you given them a shout-out of gratitude? I encourage you to take a moment of introspection to reach out to those who helped you this year. You are so blessed to have them!
As always, thank you for your ongoing support of my work, and have a delightful December! May your heart be filled with love, your mind filled with positive thoughts, your belly filled with yummies, and your spirit filled with Divine Light.
Many blessings,
Theresa

Under the Dome

So much is happening at LHSC in December! I will be leading the Sacred Drumming Service on Sunday, December 4th from 9:00am-10:00am on Sunday, December 4th. You are welcome to bring your drum and help create some powerful transformational energy with me! After the 9:00am service, I will be delivering a message based on my newest keynote called "GET BIG" from 10:30am to 11:30am. As an added bonus, child prodigy Grace Nollet and her dad Steve will be my musical guest at the 10:30am service. Grace is a old-soul powerhouse singer in the body of an 11 year-old, and she perfectly embodies the theme of Getting Big. She is gonna rock the dome! Speaking of rocking the dome, the Alison Scott Benefit Concert for LHSC is this month!!! Please join us on Thursday, December 8th at 7:00pm for an evening with one of the Twin Cities' finest voices. The tickets are $10 each and all proceeds go to LHSC. Advance tickets may be purchased on the LHSC web site via Paypal. We hope to see you there! It is going to be sooooo much fun.
I am now providing spiritual counseling sessions at LHSC. Here is a flyer that provide more information about my private appointments.

Stuff I Love
It's Quality Movie Season once again! We have survived another summer of prepubescent drivel and are starting to recognize movies made for grown-ups. Yay!
I am a huge fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt -- (500) Days of Summer, Inception, Stop-Loss -- and was not disappointed in his latest film called 50/50. It is a story of a young man who gets diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and his journey toward recovery. However, this isn't your typical super-heavy, 20-Kleenex downer film. Seth Rogan is delightful as his best friend, and there are tons of hilarious and emotional moments in it. The script, written by Will Reiser and inspired by his own experiences, is touching, funny, and authentic, and the acting is flawless (I predict Angelica Huston for Best Supporting Actress!) Rotten Tomatoes gives 50/50 a well-deserved 93%, and I encourage you to find it at your second-run movie theatre or put it on your Netflix queue. You will love it!
