Say Yes and Figure It Out Later
Happy November! I hope this finds you thoroughly enjoying the Fall season. I love this month, as it seems like big things happen for me each November. Not only does November bring us Thanksgiving, it is also my birth month (42 years old on the 12th - EEEK!) and the anniversary of my mother's passing back in 2006. The energy is always very strong both in my internal and external worlds, and over time I have learned to utilize it in my healing and co-creation processes.
Many changes are happening for me - I have lost 50 pounds since February (woo hoooo!), and my smaller self has made me energetically bigger than ever before. Blessedly, my calendar was jam-packed with gigs in October, I have a brand-new program called "GET BIG: The HoopWoman's Guide to Living Freely and Fully" that was a huge success at a recent American Business Women's Association event in Sarasota, and I have a fun new demo video that showcases my skills as a speaker. 'Getting Big' is the theme of my life right now, and I am passionately sharing it with others. When we are energetically big, everything else in our lives - our health, our relationships, our jobs, our home life, and our communities - are all positively impacted.
One of the lessons I have learned on my journey toward bigness is the notion of saying YES to any opportunity, regardless if we have it figured out yet or not. There are many occasions where we are given chances to have something juicy occur, yet we say no or let the opportunity putter away because we aren't absolutely positively confident that we can deliver the goods. In short, we are afraid that we'll fail, so we don't even bother trying.
Don't do it! Don't let those wonderful new doorways that are appearing before you right now get closed due to fear. My philosophy is to say yes first and then figure out the details later. When a speaker's bureau or client asks me if I have a program that I can deliver on XYZ topic, the answer is always yes! Of course I have a program on XYZ! Maybe I don't have it yet on the physical plane, but I have supreme confidence that I can download the information I need from my Higher Self. I am a smart cookie, I will be able to figure out what to do, and I know that when the time comes, I will knock it out of the park (or at least get an on-base triple!) In order to do so, I MUST be able to live in that very uncomfortable interim space of having already committed to the yes but before the outcome is firmly established. That tension can sometimes make my stomach churn and cause me some sleepless nights, but it always always always ends up being in my best interest. When I get out of my own way and follow the signs, new areas of awesomeness open up that I never knew would be possible! Yes is your Big Self talking; No is your small self. GET BIG by saying Yes! Yes! Yes! more often.
Take care, my dear one, and enjoy the magic of this month. Let gratitude be your guide as you navigate your journey, recognizing that despite any numbers on a bank statement, you are rich beyond measure. I am grateful for you.

My Mojo Mama Blog
I love to write, but I haven't given myself permission to do it very much. I tended to perceive it as too time-consuming or unimportant. Well, no more! After several years of my blog lying dormant, I have resuscitated it under the new name of Mojo Mama! I can't promise that the entries will be long mojofestos that will permanently alter your worldview, but hopefully they will put a smile on your face and give you some tasty nugget to think about. I will endeavor to post at least twice a week, and I would love it if you would subscribe/follow/read/share/comment, and do everything else one does with blogs they enjoy. Under the Dome
LHSC is thriving and growing by leaps and bounds!! It is such a glorious thing to witness, and I am honored to be a part of it. My next service at LHSC will be on Sunday, November 6th from 10:30am-11:30am and is titled "Beyond Wall Street: Occupying Our Selves". The great political awakening that is happening all across the globe gives us a ripe opportunity to also seek out its teachings within. I will be sharing a message of the macro and micro energetic worlds in which we live, and how current events that are happening in the collective consciousness can be also integrated into our internal worlds. We can use this time to move more fully into our power, solidify our beliefs, and strengthen our conviction that we are here for a reason. We no longer need to be victims. We can embrace these moments of great change, as we have been called to participate. I hope you can join me under the dome on November 6th for some spiritual practice, inspiration, meditation and fellowship! Note: I am now providing spiritual counseling sessions at LHSC. Stuff I Love
If you are like me, you have tons of tasks to do and not enough time or energy to do them. I recently discovered a web-based solution that has given me a lot more time: Elance.com. Elance is kind of like eBay for business transactions. I have a lot of web research required for my work, and I often spend precious time surfing Google instead of creating or delivering quality content. Not anymore!! I signed up with Elance for free, created proposals for the administrative work I needed (e.g. copying hundreds of contact records from a web site into an Excel spreadsheet), and then waited for the bids to start rolling in. And roll in they did!! My last proposal cost me only $40, and it easily saved me over a week of labor which I used to finalize my GET BIG keynote instead! There are hundreds of ways to use Elance, and there are people all over the globe that can help make your life easier for very little moolah. Get more time to do what you WANT to do! What a great investment it is.
If you want to make extra money and can provide online work (graphic design, proofreading, marketing, administration, programming, and much more), Elance may be just the avenue you are looking for!!
