Celebrate the Holidays with your Fellow Republicans 

Many of you have been working hard this year to lay the groundwork for a successful 2012 Election.  This is evident in the recent achievements for the November 2011 local elections where dozens of Republicans were elected to local offices throughout the Bay Area.  The holiday season is a good time to celebrate our victories and enjoy friends and family before the new election year is upon us.  We have included all the Christmas and Holiday parties we know of in the listings below, and encourage you to attend one near you. 

Improvements to BayAreaGOP.com

We have been working in recent months to improve our website at www.bayareagop.com .  We now continuously update Bay Area Republican event listings on our website. In addition, we list and welcome submissions for GOP events in Santa Cruz, Sonoma, Solano and Napa counties as well as our core Bay Area counties. For your convenience, we show event information in several formats:    

• The Upcoming Events Page includes upcoming meetings and event details in a list format.    
• The Monthly Calendar includes all past and upcoming events in a grid format.
• The County News & Events pages are listed under the Calendar of Events tab and include a list of upcoming fundraisers and club events taking place in each county. When timely, news items such as election results are also included.
• This month we have made our event listing in this newsletter more concise, with a link to the appropriate county page for complete information.    

It is my goal to give our readers access to all Bay Area GOP event details in one location.  I hope this will help you avoid conflicts when scheduling your fundraiser or club meeting, while bringing events to your attention that inspire you to support GOP efforts.
