Dr. Oz Promotes Whole Grains on Oprah
Dr. Oz says that eating whole grains isn't

cancer, and diabetes. He explains that
whole grains help flush fat and cholesterol
out of your system and provide powerful

Dr. Oz says when you're looking at bread
labels, here's
one thing to keep in mind to maximize your
family's health. It's got to say '100
percent whole grain.' If it doesn't say 100
percent, it's not." Unfortunately,

grains. Whole grains should be the first or
second ingredient listed.
Dr. Oz urges you to eat one slice of 100
percent whole grain bread lightly dipped in
non-chemically processed extra virgin olive
oil before every dinner.
He says this easy, yet powerful,
combination will reduce the amount of food
you'll eat at dinner and keep you fuller for
longer amounts of time. "Dinner's our big
meal where we make most of our mistakes," he
says. These mistakes can lead to serious
consequences, like heart attack or diabetes.

reduce your risk for both, Dr. Oz says. "And
you'll probably lose weight to boot."
