Bread Spreads! Pomodoro In 1/4 cup olive oil, saute 1/4 cup chopped onion and 1 clove garlic, minced, for 3 minutes. Add 3 large, diced tomatoes and heat through. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped basil, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/8 tsp. black pepper. Herb Mustard Vinaigrette Combine 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 Tbs. red wine vinegar, 1 tsp. Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup finely chopped basil, 2 Tbs. chives, chopped, 1 tsp. fresh oregano, chopped, 1/2 tsp. Salt and 1/2 tsp. black pepper.
